Welcome to Shiroblogo!

Hello readers! My name is Miles, and I’m an enthusiast of the 2014 P.A. Works animation Shirobako, a television broadcast anime about the process of creating television broadcast anime. This blog, Shiroblogo, will be home to both my own perspectives on different elements of the title, as well as news and updates from Japan and elsewhere regarding the meta build up around Shirobako.

Though the series was completed a few months ago, and further content will not up for consideration for at least the next few years, for reasons that will be explained throughout the life of this blog, I believe Shirobako lends itself to continued analysis. Additionally, the anime is among the most popular of the last year in Japan, and a steady stream of new fan content and official merchandise making its way into the hands of hungry enthusiasts such as myself. Between these two core interests, Shiroblogo will maintain a regular update schedule.

Writing is an important hobby of mine that I’ve neglected since entering the work force, so I intend to use this blog to provide some accountability to my writing schedule as its main function. That said, I do hope that this blog finds the small pockets of English-language Shirobako fans around the world and provides some compelling “content” at least a few times a week.
